Ball In Hand is legal in ALL of our tournaments EXCEPT on the 8 ball
(NO BALL IN HAND at anytime when shooting at the 8 Ball) unless otherwise marked by the Host.
Any tournament that is to be played as NBIH will be set at least 24 hours in advance and
clearly marked on the tournament page. Make sure to read any and all information pertaining
to this tournament on the tournament page.
When the Host calls the pairs in the lobby, the player whose name is called to set the table
is to set your table, then call out your opponents name and include the table number for
where you are. It makes things much easier for everyone.

Failure to do this will result in an automatic DQ
-Bank 8 Tours are One Rail unless you use the Cue to "Kick the 8 in" then you must use 2 rails-

-Defensive play is considered "illegal" In AllAboutFun and
will NOT be tolerated in ANY league matches here played here-

-Below are 3 of the most common practices in playing in a Defensive manner-

-If found to be playing in any manner as described below; it will be dealt with swiftly and deliberately-
-Please leave your defensive shooting for RATED games or in OTHER rooms-
-We have a LOT of experience on our staff and NO one will get away with this practice-

AllAboutFun's Definition to Defensive Play/Shots

Defensive Play is an "umbrella" phrase we use to define separate area's of play-

-These area's are defined below-

I) Tapping - A defensive move which is designed is to leave your opponent without
a shot or a very low chance of a viable shot. Also known as a "Safety" or "Carom"

II) Sand bagging - "Tricks of a Hustler" the unethical practice of playing well
below your ability in order to turn your inning over to your opponent. Typically, in
hopes they will free up the table - Calling the wrong pocket on purpose in order to
turn your inning over to your opponent because the dynamics of the table do not
suit you - Intentionally breaking the rack in such a manner to leave the balls clumped up;
Oldest trick in the book for a seasoned player to pull on a beginner/intermediate/advanced player

III) Sharking - Any one of numerous acts which unethical players employ to rattle or upset their opponent.
Such as:
-Rambling (excessive chat) at the table while your opponent shoots-
-Continuously running the shot clock down-
-Standing or exiting the table-
-Or any other acts to annoy your opponent and change the tempo of the game-

Single Elimination (S/E) 

1st Timer = 5 Minutes
If you return before this timer expires you may continue to participate in this tournament.
If you fail to return in the allotted time then you are Disqualified from this tournament
NO EXCEPTIONS!

2nd Timer = Disqualified (DQ)
Double Elimination (D/E) & Swiss

1st Timer = 5 minutes
If you return before this timer expires you may continue to participate in this tournament.
If you fail to return in the allotted time then you are Disqualified from this tournament
NO EXCEPTIONS!

2nd Timer = 5 Minutes
If you return before this timer expires you may continue to participate in this tournament.
If you fail to return in the allotted time then you are Disqualified from this tournament
NO EXCEPTIONS!

3rd Timer = Disqualified from this tournament
-In a D/E or a Swiss - If you fail to return and start playing the match called within
the allotted time for the FIRST (1st) timer then you are Disqualified from the tournament-

 

You are only allowed to be in ONE tournament at a time!
If you jump into another one prior to either being eliminated
from the first tour or the tour ends then you will be
Disqualified from tournament #2.
NO EXCEPTIONS

PLEASE DO NOT RUSH THE HOST


This staff is fully trained and quite capable of running a tournament smoothly and time efficiently.
Anyone rushing the Host or making impatient comments in the lobby will be met with disciplinary actions.

Once you join a tournament PLEASE wait patiently for it to begin. If it looks like it may be a few
minutes before that happens then feel free to find a ladder partner and get a Ladder match or 2 in.


NO FIGHTING
There will be no fighting between players in this League. If you have an issue with another player you
are to politely ask for me to come to your table and we will work it out Anyone found to be arguing with
another player in AAF will be removed from this tournament. (You may also find yourself boxed for
3 days or removed from this league completely depending on the severity of your actions)

HOST HAS FINAL DECISION PERIOD
Any decision made by me the Tournament Director of this Tournament will be the
last word in any dispute. If you disagree with my decision please feel free
to see a Staff member above me, be it an HTD, Administrator, or HA,
but leave it out of the lobby.

LOBBY REPRESENTATION
As a member of AllAboutFun you should always represent yourself in an appropriate fashion.
We are a FAMILY league and we do not allow any chat other than one with family values in mind.
No sexually oriented, alcohol/drug references or profanity will be tolerated in this league
be it in the lobby, a table or in Instant Messenger.

Please do not enter another tour until you are finished with the tour you are in,
If you do you will be Disqualified. You are not permitted to play any other games
while in a tournament if you do you are Disqualified. You are permitted to practice
against the computer but please set the table as private or
DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO REPLACE THE COMPUTER.
Furthermore if this is a Teams tournament and you and your partner are in the top
spot in the finals bracket you may play one another in ladder matches.

SPORTSMANSHIP
Before each match is played you must say Good Luck (GL) to your opponent.
At the end of each match you must say Good Game (GG) to your opponent AFTER the
8 ball has dropped into the pocket.
Both of these show your a good sport and that's how we feel everyone should be in this league.

REPORTING TO THE HOST IN THE LOBBY
After each match you BOTH must return to the lobby and report
to me like this "Hosts Name" ********Winners name/////Non-Winners name
Then wait patiently for your name to be called again if you are still active in this tournament.

 

The rules you see beyond this point are just Myleague.com's generic rules
put in place for leagues that do not have their own. But since we do then
ANYTHING you see below this box is NULL & VOID.
